Council Member

Mr. Julian McDonald is a seasoned professional in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying,
holding a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech),
and a Real Estate Dealership License to practice Sales, Rentals, Leases, Property Management, Appraisals and Auctioneering with the Real Estate Board of Jamaica. Julian is also the CEO and Managing Director of MRG Property Services Limited.

Julian is a highly experienced professional in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying, with over two decades of expertise. He started his career in 1994 as an Assistant Valuation Surveyor at the National Land Agency (NLA), and has since held key roles at C.D. Alexander Co. Realty, Victoria Mutual Property Services, and the Jamaica National Building Society. Julian's career highlights include positions as a Valuation Surveyor, Property Manager, and Auctioneering, where he managed extensive property portfolios and contributed to the real estate sector in Jamaica.

Julian's professional journey is underscored by his active involvement in industry associations, including the Small Business Association, the Realtors Association of Jamaica (RAJ), the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Real Estate Board as a Real Estate Dealer (REB), and the ALEVS Association. His affiliations highlight his commitment to professional development and adherence to industry best practices.

Throughout his career, Julian has demonstrated a passion for excellence, a commitment to
integrity, and a relentless drive to innovate within the field of land valuation and property
management.
