On Wednesday May 31, 2023, we hosted our Annual General Meeting at the Alhambra Inn on Tucker Avenue in Kingston. In addition to the presentation of the reports from the President and the Treasurer, the Association's elections were also conducted. The elections were led by the Election Committee, comprised of Mr. Lloyd Davis, Ms. Norma Breakenridge and Mr. Alister Smith.

Some of our special guests included Mr. Ransford Wedderburn, one of the Founding Members of the Association; Mr. Andrew James, the Chairman of the Real Estate Board and Mrs. Hyacinth Picart, FRICS, Senior Director & Commissioner of Land Valuations at the National Land Agency. Mrs. Picart was specially invited as our Guest Speaker and gave encouragement to the membership to continue the work ahead. This year's council has the mammoth task of preparing for the implementation of the recently approved Constitution and Code of Ethical Conduct and requests the support of our members, well wishers and wider networks in achieving this goal. Special commendations and acknowledgements are given to the members who served well in the past year and have moved on to other duties, namely, Dr. Tina Beale (Vice President), Mr. Ludlow Bowie (Treasurer) and Ms. Amanda McAnuff (Council Member).
